Crop
Production
At our family farm, we are proud to grow all of the crops necessary to feed our livestock. With over 700 acres of farmland, we cultivate a diverse range of crops including corn, wheat, soybeans, corn silage, hay, straw, and other forage crops. Our commitment to producing high-quality feed ensures that our animals are healthy and well-nourished, resulting in tender and delicious beef products that our customers can trust.

Feed
Manufacturing
Our feed manufacturing capabilities allow us to process the crops we grow to feed our animals. Soybeans are pressed and heated to remove oil and cooked to destroy any antinutritional factors. We then combine with ground corn, vitamins and minerals. The resulting mix is then run through our extruder to cook the starches which increases the digestibility of the concentrate. This combined, with homegrown hay and sileages, produces the complete balanced nutrition our cattle require.

Beef
Production
For our beef production we use the more traditional beef breeds. Limousin and Limousin cross cattle have performed very well for us in the past producing superior quality carcasses but we are constantly looking at different crosses to assess their potential. Cattle are started at approximately 600 lbs and fed up to final market weight of 1500 lbs again using our homegrown grains and forages.
